Tapas route

There will be a tapas route again in Cartagena towards the end of March. This started last year and was great fun. Twenty establishments are offering a 2 Euro tapas and competing. You can get a leaflet with map from the tourist office nearer the time. Last year you got a free flying jacket if you turned in a form with stamps from all the bars. The chamber of commerce also gave anyone who turned in a form with less stamps free musem entries. I really enjoyed this because it is a cheap way of trying new restaurants. Another good thing about this festival is that it gets you talking to Spaniards. You see other people clutching the tapas leaflet and it is natural to fall into conversation about the tapas you are all trying and other good ones on the route.
