Adding photos to the photo album
Many people have problems with uploading images from their hard
drives and this is usually because with todays digital cameras,
file sizes can be huge - resulting in long uploads and crashes.
Showing images on the internet doesn't require the same resolution
as when printing images, so smaller is better when showing
photographs on the web.
There are many free software programmes you can use for reducing the size of your photographs, but if you want to use an online service instead you can use this automatic image re-sizer. After re-sizing your image it will tell you to click the image to download and save it on your hard-drive. You can then use the uploading option by clicking the link on the player on this site. Please note that large images will take time to re-size. No advertising images please - I moderate the photographs and delete any that are unsuitable
