Comment by Liz on March 27, 2008 at 4:23pm - When I was a teenager I went to Alicante with my parents whilst on a family holiday to Benidorm. This was in the days when Spain was very exotic and a holiday abroad was out of the ordinary. I have a photo of my parents (both now passed on) standing on the promenade in Alicante and this always has had a special place in my memory. So when I was in Alicante in April 2006 (I celebrated my 50th in Spain) and went to the same spot and had a photo taken with my daughter. Circle complete!
