30 students! That´s a lot! No wonder you didn't get much chance to talk. In my classes I have no more than 6 students, or 8 if they are friends! This way, everyone gets to have a go. You could look at it that there is nowhere to hide though!
I always emphasise speaking in my lessons. In this way, of course, you practise the listening as well. Reading and writing can be done outside the lesson (and corrected in it, if necessary). It is only with lots of practice that you will get the confidence to speak it.
I am Matthew, the teacher on the Spanish Language Site videos, and I would like to add my welcome to Jan's. If you have any questions about Spanish, don't hesitate to let me know. Have you had a look at out mini-course, which gives you a taster to see if learning by means of online videos suits you?
What sort of things did you do on the course? Was it mainly speaking, or was there some grammar as well?

God luck, and let us know how you get on.
